Melbourne area stangs

Where is everyone selling their Mustang parts? I need some J&M or Maximum Motorsports caster-camber plates, but not much shows up on the Corral or eBay. A decent set of struts and shocks would be nice for a low price (not KYB and not Bilstein/Koni, respectively).

Here is a place that has new Bullitt struts for $88.84 USD and shocks for $45.50 USD. BUT it's in Canada.
Western Motorsports Just a thought......:nice:

You know, if I'm getting caster-camber plates, I could go back to the plan I had a few months ago to purchase some takeoff struts and shocks from a new Mustang. Usually on eBay they go for 25 bucks (except when the clowns bid them up to $70  ) and apparently you can space out the C/C plates to roughly fit the 1" longer struts into the Fox chassis. It'd be a cheap way to make another part of the suspension 'like new' and possibly fix the creaking I hear when I turn the wheel. On the other hand, I'd lose an inch of bump travel. What do you guys think?

I need your help. I want a "Your Honda Sucks" t-shirt and I need a picture of it too to show my friends. The pic will result in more orders. :D

Can someone please post a pic and tell me the member name of the dude selling the Your Honda Sucks T-shirts.

I met him Saturday at the Evolution School really cool guy.

I had fun at the Evolution School too. The rain really threw a damper on things though. Sundays challange turned out to be a great day I got all my mechanical bugs worked out and she ran strong and cool all day.
James is the dude with the S2000 he was really cool. We drove each others cars Sunday during fun runs. While the S2000 was a total dog it handled like a dream I was very impressed and that takes a lot considering how well prepared my car is.

Mark drove my car like he wanted to break it. Steve Brollier showed up and like Elliot did for one of you showed me I am not pushing my car hard enough. He is an amazing driver. No wonder he won the Miami Mazda rev it up.

here ya go jim :nice:

i have an extra that i had bought for a friend, i believe is a medium, but never got paid for it....its yours for 5 bucks :nice:

If the strut body is the same length then the piston rod is what is longer. If that is the case you could use the C/C plate spacers to pull the rod up the difference in length and not lose any jounce travel. I could give you the body length from my 03 Cobra Bilstiens if you want a reference measurement.

Stupid Stangnet.....stopped notifying me of this post. I was wondering why I hadn't gotten an update on this for about a week now...

Well....finally got my car back. Runs REALLY strong....it's been less than a week and I've already got almost 300 miles on it. This break in will be done before I know it, then I'll REALLY be able to have fun with it. But on another note, I'm kinda pissed right now because sooo much went wrong trying to get it all together...so now it's finally together, but it idles way lopier than it's supposed to be for an E cam...and my brakes suck...so immediately I think vacuum problem. I throw a gauge on it and I'm only pulling 10-12 hg's. That's REALLY poor. All the hoses are intact...so now I have to do a vacuum leak hunt. Probably just gonna bring it back and say "you put the motor in, you find out what you missed!" :bang:

Hey guys...

Does TJ over at trick pro do mechanic type stuff? or does he just do hi-po mods????

Something is wrong with my engine, vibrates and shakes at low idle and theres a whine coming from it. I dont think its the belt, I know what that sounds like.

So does he do stuff like that? I dont know of any other mechanics I would trust so I hope he does!

He does regular mechanic work, but specializes in hi-po. Call him up or swing by, he's cool. :nice:
