There was a thread around here somewhere about the Meguire's NXT wax. I was due for a waxing, so I tried it. I usually use Mother's California Gold Carnuba Wax, so that's my comparison base.

The end results was this... The shine is amazing, but probably no better than my regular wax. What I did like, and what will keep me using it from now on is the ease. It goes on like nothing and comes right off with no effort whatsoever. I followed the hand-waxing an hour later with a light buffing with a dry lambswool pad on an orbital buffer. I also used it on the plastic rear bumber and tonneau cover and loved the shine.

Pics lost a lot of detail from resizing, but you can see the grass and driveway reflecting in the sides and bumper. Also, pics are with 20 miles of highway driving after the waxing.

I'm sold on it. :nice:

What kind of shape is your paint in, any oxidation or swirls? Either will affect the kind of results you can achieve with any product. Do you use any kind of paint cleaner? Next time give Meguiars ColorX a try and then top it with NXT. I think you may be suprised at the results.

Here are a couple of pics of my '01 GT with NXT
