methanol/water injection

Oh yeah, loads of people are doing water/alky injection over on turboford.org. I was going to run it on my old 2.3, but I blew it up before I got around to installing it. I am hoping to install it soon on my new engine.

So.. I have to ask.. was that 54hp gain printed on the box or verified on a dyno? :D

I'm sure it was at the rw on a dyno cause he has access to all that stuff in Louiville, Kentucky. The car was mine when it had a 302 with all the trickflow parts 42# inj. and a 9 psi procharger. A lot more but it's too long to list. I'll find a pic and post it one day. I sold the car to him and he put a vortech on it and did a lot of block and head work work. He said there is a real difference with the alc/h2o injection but he hasn't tested it at a track yet. I went from blown cobra's to my new project car which is the tc 2.3. It's so much cheaper and kind of fun since these little bastards can scoot!:D

I put together an alky injection setup, and ran it for a while. It definatly made the car a lot more fun, and it was just scary at times. I'm not really sure when I'll get to use it again though... because my new setup will be taxing the stock injectors very heavily, and I don't want to rely on the alky to get the AFs resonable. Then, it would be over pig rich at lower rpms, and lean out badly up top. hmmm, megasquirt time with big injectors? hehe
