Metra 70-5519 question

I need to know if I should hook up the illumination wire from the Alpine harness to either one from the Metra 70-5519?

The metra has 2 one negative and one positive

I just ran into the same issue when installing my Kenwood. I hooked it up to the orange wire... and that has provided the illumination for me without issues.

Hook to the illum +
Tape off the other one.
