Well its time for a new shifter... I know the steeda tri-ax is good shifter and alot of people have it but, I was wondering how the MGW was compared to it? I was thinking about trying it just for something different but not if its inferior to the tri-ax.

One more question when I put in the new shifter I wanna change my tranny fluid, I have a slight grind when shifting fast into 3rd and wanted to put in either redline or royal purple in it which one is best and how much do I need to get? Thanks

im pretty sure the mgw shifter is the only one with ALL positive reviews, im mean everyone that tires it, loves it. also the quality seems top notch...i think i might buy this for myself for christmas.
tri-ax and all others on the market mostly have good reviews but theres always a few people with complaints.

I have an mgw and I like it. Nice and notchy and not rubbery like most shifters feel

I have heard the quality of the MGW is great and the best on the market. I have the Tri ax and like it but I'm not saying its the best.

the only negative ive ever heard about the mgw was on a viper when it wasw just too hard to shift into reverse without much leverage... but EVERYTHING else ive heard says mgw is the best. I want one. i think pro 5.0's rate a bit better than tri-axes from what ive seen except for the handle position (i love my pro 5.0 w/ tri-ax handle ...especially for 100 bucks!)

I have a hard time going into reverse sometimes, so I shift to 4th then to reverse and it always works.
