Anyone have one of these yet? I am tired of the way that my TRI-AX smashes my shifter boot.

I think they're looking at one of the sponsers to make a custom boot to ride low on the handle to show it off.
I'll be getting one as soon as my buddy buys my UPR Blu Thunder.
Pretty sweet!!!!!!!!!

I have ordered mine a week ago. I think they are going to ship it on this 29th. Will let all of you know how it feels

Edit: Sorry ... I misunderstood you. I thought you were talking about the shifter not the shifter handle. Yes I have a shifter handle from MGW and I love it ... hope this helps!

I have it on my Pro 5.0. I used to hate the reach to 3rd and 5th. Now it places the shift ball in a much better place and fits like a glove.

I totally agree

I have pro 5.0 and got tired of reaching so I bought the MGW handle. I spent a few minutes fine tuning the position and now everything is perfect. I wouldn't swap my set up for anything.

MGW handle is awesome, I was able to customize it so the shifter doesn't hit a drink in the cup holder when I shift to 2nd.

I put one on my Pro 5.0 and I love it. Here is a review for anyone who is considering it...

Here is the complete kit from MGW

Right out of the box you can feel how heavy and solid this thing is. It has a hard coat anodized aluminum body with a high tensile strength steel shaft that rotates AND telescopes (in and out) to accomodate any reach or hand position...I can now adjust the knob to exactly where I want it!

Check out the difference between the Pro 5.0 and the MGW side-by-side...

The thick heavy body reduces transfered sonic vibration from the tranny (definitley quieter), and seems to improve the smoothness of the shifts from the Pro 5.0 handle.

MGW gives you a choice of using thin rubber washers or a thick rubber flange gasket to use when installing the handle. Since I dont plan to ever have my car on a racetrack, I used the flange gasket rather then the washers...and not only does it transfer less sound from the tranny than the Pro 5.0 handle did (which I used a gasket on as well), it transfers less heat!!

The other thing I REALLY liked was that it uses standard 1/2" bolts rather than metric hex bolts

...you can get a much tighter fit using a socket wrench as opposed to a hex key (I realize you can use socketed hex keys, but I dont have them).

The bolts on the Pro 5.0 handle had already started to vibrate loose (slightly) after only two-weeks...which is why I like the fact that MGW included lock washers AND locknuts for extra security anainst loosening. This picture also shows that I used a few of the additional stackable washers that MGW includes for eliminating any gap between the shift boot and knob. The top of the boot now rests flush against the knob!!

I apologize for carrying on so much about a shift handle...but I DIG THIS THING!! It has made a significant difference in the feel and function of my Pro 5.0!! In fact, I can now say that I would NOT recommend the Pro 5.0 shifter WITHOUT a different handle from the one included in the box...and the MGW is the one I would (highly) recommend.

MGW home page..forgot the website but just search for MGW shifter handle and it will pop up.

the install took like 5 mins. i bought the billet cobra shifter knob and its nice! the grip is great and the finish is awesome. i recommend picking up one of their knobs while u are at it.
