i already have bbk equal shorties, i gutted my stock cats, but i know there is more hp to be found.
who makes the best decently priced o/r h pipe, esp. one that i dont have to do all kinds of modification to get it to fit and have one tail pipe shorter than the other.
also, i need suggestions on mufflers.
i was thinking about magnaflows, i heard that they arent a huge restriction, the new s/c saleens have them, sounds good, but is a 4.6...
many say flowmasters, dont want to be extremely different, but flowmasters on a stang...all to common.
idk about borlas, they are good, but very expensive, sure that $ is not so relative to this car, but right now i rather not spend that much on them.

also would getting 2.5 tailpipes be a good idea, instead of just using the stock ones. i was going to just dump it, but the sn95's look naked w/o the pipes in the rear.

thanks a million guys, and yes i used the search feature already, my eyes burned out and i didnt get everything answered lol

I have the BBK o/r H and it woke things up a hundred percent, both sound wise and seat of the pants. Its connected to a full MAC system which I think sounds awesome. I had Flows and an o/r on my 88 and like you said, not very original. Loud though. The MAC system is nice because its in three pieces so you can tweak it to look perfect. I hate systems with the pipes going two different ways or one longer then the other. The tips on the system are some of the best Ive seen too and theyre also fully adjustable. The sound when you get on it will make you grin and turn heads.

Go for the MAC O\R h-pipe.
Decent sound.
Cheap and easy install (on my end).

I neglected to mention that I only used the BBK because a 95 Roush clone came through my shop and the dealership didnt want to pay the 2300 it costs for new stock h pipe with cats so I volunteered mine. Most H pipes are essentially the same. I think Pacifica makes some modular ones that come in three pieces for easy install and are coated with some shiny black corrosion inhibitor. At the end of the day, unless youre looking for something in stainless, I think you get pretty much the same product from every company when it comes to O/R h's.
