Mid Pipe Question????

Is there a difference between a 96-98 X-pipe and a 99-04 X-pipe? If there is what is it? Because I've seen some places have the same part # for all years and some places have different part #'s for the 96-98 and 99-04. So if anybody knows let me know.

From what i have heard the exhaust manifolds are a bit different. I would ask whoever you are buying the part from.
