I Have a generic brand offroad H pipe on my car its pretty beat up from the guy i got the pipe used from... But Its begun to leak pretty badly at the manifolds.

A few things i noticed is right side ford collector is oval, the aftermarket mid pipe is completely round, and the stock gasket appeared it might leak due to the obvious shape difference.

the driver side leaks horribly.. It does not meat up nicely with the manifold.

I have desided instead of trying to repair this I want to get a new pipe. Im looking at BBK for the price, Has anyone had any leaks with them? Fitment?

What about UPR?

just looking for some feedback so i dont make a bad decision... Im tired of sounding like a old 2.8L chevy blazer:D

Depends on what sound you want.

Mac, BBK, and MRT ($$$$$$$$$) all make great H pipes.

SLP, Bassani, Hooker, VRS, Dr. Gas, and Magnaflow all make great X pipes.

You could go inbetween with a Mac Prochamber.

I heard hit or miss situations with UPR; do a search.

I have had the UPR on mine for a few years now with no problems what soever. I love the piece.
It fit great and I had no leaks what so ever.

Only thing I did was coat it with a High temperature flat black paint since it is not a stainless piece. Still looks great years later no rust and I drove the car for a couple of winters in the snow and salt.

I have the Prochamber on my 96. Nice piece. I also had a Mac H and it was good too. No fitment problems with either. The sound from the H was a little deeper than the PC but just a a hair or so.
