might buy a new dash, but no wiring harness.. big deal?

well ive been lookin for a new dash for my '90 lx, and i see alot of them without wiring harnesses.
is this a big deal? or is it just a simple few minute thing to splice my harness onto that dash?

ive never pulled a WHOLE dash. so i really wouldnt know
any opinions would be great. thanks

does $58 for shipping a dash sound excessive?

The dash is usually just the plastic outer part with sometimes the AC ductwork behind the vents and occasionally the metal dash support. The wiring is not part of the dash since it is connected to the car and just plugs into the instruments and AC and radio and switches. Shipping depends on where it is from. I sent a dash shell (about 30 pounds in a wood reinforced box) and the shipping was around $35. I think it only went from Houston to like Oklahoma.
