Im sure some one else could help too if they want.
I got my car out and played around last night, and only have one question....How the hell do you lanch a turbo car with a 5-speed? I cant spool with out a load, and when I try to dump the clutch it just boggs. Whats your trick? the car is fun and pritty quick, but Ill be heading to the track soon and at this rate you can time my 60' times with a sun dile! please help:hail2:

If you dump at 4000+ I can't see it bogging...

Anyways, I have used two different methods:
1) Quickly tap the throttle so you are revving it very quickly but overall it's holding around 3500-4000...this will get the turbo spooling.

2) Don't do #1 but instead: Hold the engine at ~3500 and instead of dumping the clutch, let it out more slowly so the car is always reving ~4k or so but at the edge of spin (let it out slightly slower and it spins, let it out faster and it bogs). This slipping of the clutch works best for me...I like to get just a "chirp" of the tires as I leave and then feather the clutch out. Normally it's not fully released until right before I shift to second.

thanks bud, I was practicing this weekend and am doing better. It also made a big difference with 93octane. I can now spin the tires in first but I think it needs a good tune up to do anything else.
