MIL eliminator question

So I have been running my O/R Xpipe for about two months now without the MIL eliminators... I knew the check engine light would be on until it was tuned or I add the MILe's, but for the last three days the CEL has been off. The car seems to run a bit better but I can attribute that to the colder air temps.

Is this common or should I be looking at something else?

Thanks for the help!

Sometimes it takes a while for the ECU to trigger the CEL. Especially if you're just driving around town or on a few here and there short trips. The code might still be stored in the ECU, but the engine might not have been running long enough for the light to come on. My 03 has done that a few times when I've had bad injectors, when the tune was off, when i had high flow cats, when my MAF was dirty, and other times in the 6 years I've had her...
