If I take the mileage chip off of my old instrument cluster and put it onto my new cluster, will the old one still be functional (say if it had another chip or the original was replaced?
The electronic connection looks like it would be clean, but it is attached to the original board with the OEM plastic bracket...Also, will it make the old gauge cluster non-functional if I decide to put the chip back?
