thinking of supercharging but dont know if i have too manny miles. i've got 83,000. its a daily driver 06 GT

I'm not too familiar with Mustangs and how they hold up to mileage, but I'd have a compression check done.

If she's been well maintained then no it's not a lot of mileage

good stuff. very helpfull. i have one more question. I have a friend of mine who has always been competative with me. He bought an 03 GT and kicks my ass every time we race eventhough i have more upgrades. why is that? before you say its the "Driver" i have an auto and he has a standard trans.

UPGRADES;
03 GT- BBK CAI, BBK THROTTLE BODY, BORLA OFFROAD X-PYPE.

06 GT- BBK CAI,62MM THROTTLE BODY, BBK SHORTY HEADERS, OFFROAD X-PYPES, DIABLOSPORT PREDATOR TUNE, ACCEL IGNITION COILS, BBK UNDER DRIVE PULLEY.

Is an '03 lighter than an '06? Gears might help you whoop his butt - get 3.73's if you are going FI, otherwise put in a set of 4.10's

Just gives you an excuse for a rebuild!!!! I plan on rebuilding my block once it gets to 100k. its maybe 150 miles away from hitting 40k. so I have a while.

the 03 is mosdef lighter than an 06. and his cars a daily driver? wouldnt 4.10's not be good for the driving style. I thought 3.73 was the way to go...or even 3.55 with higher output....corrext me if im wrong.

With those mods you should be walking his car unless he's not telling you something? Your's is auto 5r55s so do 3.73 gears and maybe nitrous but dont tell him about the nitrous lol. Also look into some lowering springs/lca's ect...
