Buddy of mine has a 5.0l in his race truck. He needs to get the heads milled ~0.080" to up the CR. Any idea how much he is going to have to mill off his intake (each side) to get everything lined up again?

Thanks!

80 is alot...I have 60-65 on my gt40's. IIRC at over .045-.050 you need to look into milling the lower intake.

You might want to have him look into angle milling the heads, factory stock guys do this to get more comp. and stuff.
