why the hell would he replace all his coil packs?
he has differnt ignition then you 96-98 guys ... this he what he has

Because they might have went bad that's why.I would inspect them
before replacing though.

They aren't coil packs, it's a coil. The pre 99 Mustangs have coil packs. Coil packs need sparkplug wires. Just wanted to clear things up . Just like someone said on here, try switching coil#3 with coil#2 and see if you get a P0302. Good luck.

third one back on the passenger side is correct i believe.... i had the same problem with my motor about 2 months ago and had to take it to the dealership, they basically rebuilt my motor because it wasnt the spark plugs or anything... luckily mine was under warranty but ill look at the invoice sheet and see if it states what exactly was wrong.
