mishimoto rads, how are they holding up?

Mine is fine so far. It will still get SORT of hot sometimes, but only when I have the A/C on and its hot as **** outside.

But besides that, it stays at a comfortable 210* all the time. (Sounds kinda hot, but thats what my car has always run at)

Can't say for sure what the temps are because I'm using the stock gauge but I do know it's running cooler. Before it was between the O and R and now it's just on the N. I ordered mine a week before the group buy and have yet had to add anything.

I'm barely on the N during the day. In Aug I took it on I-4 towards Orlando, 95 degrees outside, with the air on running about 80-85MPH, never covered the N. On the way back with the air off (for as long as I could stand it) it just touched on the N. After 12 years mine was wet at the drivers side bottom so before trouble hit I replaced it. Good product for the money.

Just courious if they seem like they will last for years to come?

I have had two develop tube leaks, in the same area. I'm not balming them as I think the problem may be mine. I can say, the sent the replacement out ASAP but it lasted 2months before developing the same leak. They get an "A" for warranty coverage.

My car was hit in the front. I think I was putting the radiator under some stress as the drivers side, upper support was not lining up. If the radiator exspanded, ther was room to grow. If it contracted, then it may have pulled a tube loose, I'm not sure.

As far as keeping things cool, this radiator does the job. Temps are down 20 DEGF from the stock unit.

Yea, my top rubber bracket was slightly off as well. My rad is holding up just great, with my low speed manual fan switch on in the Savannah heat, the car stays at about 190* while cruising and 195* at a stand still. At night when it cools off, it will run at about 180* with the fan switch on.

It seems like many people are having problems with the rad leaking...is this true? My Low Coolant idiot light came on last week, and I checked for leaks and there was no coolant residue to be found anywhere around the radiator or the overflow tank. When I installed the rad, I am POSITIVE that the system was totally full because it took me damn near 4 days to freakin burp the whole system to the point where it was full and had no air bubbles. When I checked the system the other day when the light came on, the overflow tank was a few inches lower than the COLD level written on the tank, and the car was hot. I don't understand.
