I have a one gallon bottle of Simple Green and Formula 88 and wanted to know if those of you that use these products have a desired dilution ratio?

What do you use your formula to clean on the car or other household items?

It depends on what you are tackling for what dilution ratio you are wanting. If you are seeking to remove grease and residue, full strength might be preferable. Light cleaning of windows could do well with a thin mixture.

I am using it as a general purpose cleaner right now, i am not using it for cleaning a torn apart greasy engine.

I like to touch up under hood and clean the wheel wells, just don't want to peel paint and so on.

1:3 works for me, for general detailing and cleaning (Simple Green).

Have you ever had Simple Green peel paint or damage anything?

No. Then again, I've always followed up all cleaning with a cool water rinse and dry.
