MM Lower Control Arm Install this weekend

you'd have to be partially retarded to have the rear spring(s) shoot out at you. unless ur sitting there trying to kick them out with your foot or something. i had to wedge a crowbar in there while the other side of the axle was jacked up just to get one spring out. just use a socket wrench and a prybar and you'll be straight. i loosened all of my control arm bolts when i was doing my spring install, mostly because i was debating on taking the whole arm out. all came loose with a little elbow grease and i live in new england of all places. maybe some people just need to take a few trips to the gym?

make sure the wrench is on loosen, not tighten (dunno anything about this)... :nonono:

hey not to jack the thread or anything, but...

A few weeks ago me and my dad put in a set of D&D upper and lowers, and now I am hearing snapping and creaking from the rear of the car. It sounds almost like the bushings or something like that. Are you supposed to grease the side of the bushings or something??? My kit did not have any directions so it was kind of a flying by the seat of your pants deal.

I almost wish we had got some better ones, but these were so cheap it would have been dumb not to buy them. I dont think it is b/c of the arms, but I dropped 3 tenths of my time in the 1/8th tonite.
