Someone over on the Corral wanted to see Maxxim rims on a Fox. I have never seen this combo before, so I took a chop at it. It's not perfect photoshop work, but it looks pretty good.

I think you can only get the maxxims in 18+ inch sizes. That's pretty big for a fox.

They look great, I don't get why so many people are stuck on the same old stuff over and over again.

I believe this is correct....also i think the offset is for '05+ so they wouldn't look right anyways unless they offer different offsets as well. I do like their other rim, i think it's called the Villain or something, made by Konig to their specs. It's a little plain but i'd rather run those than typical Rs.

yeah, those are hot!! I have wanted them for a while but I couldnt really picture it.....I love how simple and direct they are...also they show your nice calipers and rotors and are light weight too!
I love how skinny the lines are...they make that Stang look new age contemporary.

From Maximum's website regarding the 13mm offset (the 35mm offset is for the 05+):

This stunning new Maxxim wheel is an 18" by 8.5" and will accept up to a 275 width tire. Weight is 24.5 lbs. With a 15mm offset, (5-3/8" backspacing) this wheel nicely fits 1994-2004 Mustangs. It will also fit 1979-93 Mustangs that have been converted to 5-lug, and have had some fender-lip rolling done. Designed to clear the calipers of big brake systems such as the Brembo and StopTech, this Maxxim rim will very nicely upgrade your 1979-2004 Mustang to 18" wheels.

Im debating on buying some Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog's. I was going to do 17x8 up front, 17x10 in the rear. I dont think I will have any issues with the rear. Since the Capri has those flared fenders. Speaking of which. Can you do a chop for me? An 86 Capri with Junkyard dog wheels from Boyd.

I don't know where I got the idea. I take full credit for it though...

Too bad that red car pictured has those disgusting Cobra brakes and not Baers.

I've been suggesting them for a long time, nobody here seems to have the balls to try it.

No offense, but I think that everyone had the same thoughts the first time they laid eyes on those wheels. I know I did.
