Went to Autozone today and saw that the Mobil 1 synthetic oil was $8.99, while the Royal Purple was $15.99.

Anyone here use the Mobil 1? If so, how do you like it?

everything from mobile 1 is good. I have it in my diff and I dont have any wine or wierd noises so I guess its doing its job. I recomend it over RP. In fact I recomend just about anything over RP.

mobile 1 synthetic is the best motor oil.

Most high end cars recommend it.

I would guess the gear oil is too.

Yes, it's good stuff. I used it when I had my gears done.

75-140w or 145w... something like that I think.

Don't forget friction modifier if you change it. Some lubes have it allready mixed in, but I would still add some.

RP is the devil..

Mobil 1 diff lube has friction modifier formulated in already..I don't run any modifier, no noise at all.
