If AMSOIL is the best why isn't it API certified? Just curious. I have spoke to Mobil engineers and they do conceed that AMSOIL is probably the best second to M1 that is out there. My dime goes into the M1.

If your car is used as a daily driver...(as you state) any quality oil is fine. I use Castrol GTX in my family rides and Mobil 1 in the Stang...

That's like saying "If I didn't drink Evian bottled water, I might have died." It doesn't matter what type of oil you use when it comes to over-revving a couple times, as long as you don't hold it there.

my question is...where can i get royal purple? do i have to order it online, because i've never seen it in any autoparts store?
