Just wondering what you guys think about this combo as far as a kick in the "seat of my pants" and value. I'm thinking JBA Shorties, 4.10 FRPP, and Steeda UDP. Will this put the smile on my face I've been lacking lately?

+1 on ditching the shorties, I'ld use that money to get a CAI and tune....that combo will kick the seat of your pants so hard it will leave foot prints on your back teeth.

If you go with shorties a dyno tune will be the only way to get what you want . Add your engine mods all at once so you only have to pay for one dyno session with tune. 4.10s require install cost . Both have hidden cost .
When breaking down Bang for the buck always look at the hidden cost involved .
Shorty headers = dyno tune
4.10s = install cost
UDP = IMO a UDP is a DIY job (unless you want to have it installed )
Other options I can think of that are DIY
aluminum drive shaft
LCAs along with LCA relocation brackets
I think that you would get launch benefit out of adjustable LCAs paired up with LCA relocation kit . adjustable LCAs will correct your pinion angle and the LCA relocation will improve your anti-squat properties .
IMO you will need LCAS and LCA relocation kit to take advantage of the 4.10 gears because the 4.10 gears put more demand on the anti-squat geometry of the rear end .
4.10's go in as soon as hail damage repair is complete in a couple of weeks. Found a shop locally that will install for $400. How big of a difference should I expect going from 3.55 to 4.10?
Decided to go w/ Kook's LT's instead of shorties, later in the summer.
