-CCW Classic wheels (chrome 18x9 front and 18x10 rear)
-Kooks long tube headers
-Kooks off road h-pipe
-Kooks tailpipes
-Lowered about 2 inches
-2002 Cobra front bumper with mach 1 chin spoiler
-Rear decklit blackout panel
-Corbeau racing seats with 5-Point harness
-Rear seat delete
-3.73 gearing
-Bullit side scoops
-Black rear bumper letter inserts
-Cam it
-And a few other cosmetic mods

so.. hows this look? im gonna need some help on the gearing and the cam just to make sure ive got the right one in mind. this should be upwards of 8-10 thousand

You mean 2003 cobra bumper, no cobra was made for the 2002 production year:shrug: Any way looks like a good list of mods, but dont forget you simple bolt on too like throttle body, underdrive pullies and cold air intake.

but dont forget you simple bolt on too like throttle body, underdrive pullies

Their has been a good amount of idle problems and stuck throttles with the bigger throttle bodies on the Mach engine. Underdrive pullies have the risk of oil circulation pump failure on the Mach and say goodbye to your engine. Some people are still running them, but it's not worth it to me. Hot Rod mag did a test on the Mach with underdrive pullies and gained zero.

Your dad is a wise man. Since you are 15 I would suggest saving for college not for a stupid ****ing car. Props for have 2k in the bank at your age, keep up the good work and forget about building a mad tyte race car.

Kilgore is right...but only to a point, he tends to go a bit overboard, have fun with the car, but don't forget to enjoy other things. Don't make the car your number one priority, and make sure you do only a couple things at a time, each mod will make the car act/handle a little different. It is also a lot easier for the fine stangnet members to help you trouble shoot an issue if you have only installed one or 2 things pre-issue. :rlaugh:

Enjoy the car man :nice: Machs are beautiful.

don't abuse it! :flag:

oh as for the list :rlaugh: I would do the gears last, didn't the mach's diff come with 3.55? Probably won't see much of a diff with a small gear increase like that, 200 dollars better spent elsewhere if you ask me, and thats if your doing the install yourself, heard its like 300-400 in labor but could be wrong.

haha sorry about the cobra part.. not the termi front bumper but like a 99 cobra. it looks really sick. but what cam you guys think i should look at?

...Really, my front bumper looks better than a terminator's? Idk about Kook's headers for Mach1s. IIRC they're horrible for the 99/01 Cobra's because they hang too low but I could be mistakened. You may wanna look into that since you're lowering the car that much. Cams... idk. I heard they're a waste since you have to buy 4. I think they were only good for some 40 horses or so for some $1000+. You may wanna look into that as well. Maybe an intake and a tune... Nitrous

You have it backwards. Gears first, but I agree, the small increase is not worth it. 4.30's for a 4v 5 speed car. Once you drive one and have the car hook up, then you understand why 4.30's are perfect for an NA 4v car.

Yes, gears should cost you around 400-500 for parts and labor, but worth every penny of it.

Then a nice intake, headers, pulleys and a dyno tune. Should get you to around 300-320rwhp.

Gears in a 2v or 5.0 car vs. a 4v are completely different. The powerbands are different.
