Mods this winter

Well I thought I would ask what everybodies plans are this winter(If any) for their car?

I am doing a single turbo set-up on mine. I have bought the turbo, BOV, wastegate, FMU, Fuel pump, Intercooler, some mandrel bent pipe(not all I need but some) and some other small things to go along with all the good stuff! I still need some piping, a couple of guages and few other small things. I also need a welder(will probably borrow one). I was hoping to get it done before the snow falls, but that is highly unlikely!!!

I can't wait to start it and hope everything goes well in the spring!

I don't really know what to expect for horsepower, prob around 350 to 400 to the ground... I am aming to get 400 though :D I just hope I can get it to work and drive it once the snow melts, work out the bugs and get it on a dyno.

Lets hear the stories!

Fred

Damn, that set-up sounds pretty mean! I can't wait to see some track numbers.

My mods for the winter ... well "mods" lol:

-Silverstar lights (all around)
-Bullitt shift knob, ring + pedals
-Tint (25%)
-Grill delete

That's all I can think of right now. It sucks when you're on a college budget! :D

Jess man, you gone put that in your bone stock Shelby??? :nonono:

I guest your joking man, you car is a collector one! Don't do that please :(

Good stuff Fred. i will have to pop by and check out your new gear. Give a call if u need a hand, and the welder shoud not be a problem to get one on loan for a few weekends at a time. I hope your dad has heat in that garage :D

Well this will be the last year my car sees the road until it is finished if all goes well.

Already in the works. Dart 4 bolt block, AFR or trick flow heads (Still undecided), TF intakes, 331 stroker and a Paxton Novi 2000 . Plus all the other little ins and outs it takes to make it all work smoothly :)

Maybe see the car out of storage by end of next season but I doubt it. I want new paint, hood, wing, stalker bumper etc. Get it all done then bring it out :D:D Cash flow is looking good right now so I may as well get it all done before I finalize on my house :)

Time will tell

Tell you the true, if you don't take this car man... I take it, more than ever! That's a bargain at 36k... The Blowzilla kit is 6 899$ and our Canadian money is very high right now vs USA, arround .86-.85 US for a Canadian dollars! 700hp@rw for arround 44 000$ (CAD)... You have a 8's car! I said bargain??? It's a rip off!!!! :p

Yes I know your right...

If you buy a second Mustang with that BLOWER man it's gone a sceam like hell's!

My problem an you know is my MACH 1 03"??? I have a big contract in December, I have to figure out how to do it? You are in better shape $$$ than me to do it! I guest will see :)

Since I failed to get back to the track and better my 13.2 with e6 heads my winter mod list is very small. I really want to go 12s with the e6 heads and I have the MPH to do it. I'm gonna pull the front bumper out (in 86 they were still heavy steel bumpers), maybe put on a 65mm TB. I don't think I'll need it for the 12s but it's a deal and it won't hurt, and then in the spring borrow my buddies slicks that are mounted on light weight convo pros (better than my old worn out et streets mounted on heavy turbines) and run a 12....or break trying.

After that I have a set of e7 heads I can put on and my ZEX nitrous kit....will be aiming for 11s in that trim.
