New to the website yall. Been doing alot of research and from what I understand I'm in somewhat of a deadlock. From the small knowledge that I have about cars building manifold out is what you wanna do. Plan on putting boss manifold on my 5.0 but it requires new strut towers and a tune correct?

uhm, nope your strut towers are pretty much there for good, bro

a tune would be advised, though, i think.

I had heard the strut towers weren't large enough to house them. Strut towers are interchangeable.

Regardless if i was misinformed or not the manifold needs a tune. I didn't want to buy the manifold cai tune combo because I'm doing 1 piece at a time so i was going to get cai and tune. Its useless though if the opening isn't large enough. This is so frustrating

I think you just need to replace the stock strut tower brace with the boss 302 tower brace for clearance issues.

Its suggested building the whole intake system at once correct? Ex: intake tune manifold and throttle body? Cant put any other thing on without all those working together.

You will end up paying more money if you try and piece part it or worse... using the wrong tune and wrecking the motor. Those KITS that you see are a kit because the all the pieces and parts are designed to function together. If you get just the intake, you will need a tune... that costs money. When you spap out the TB, you will need a tune... that costs money... and so on.

You buy the package and the tune is already set for those particular pieces and parts. It sure beats paying for a custom tune each and every time you add a single part.
