Mom and Dad's Christmas shopping is done

Gave my sister some cash on Tuesday toward my Mom's gift.

I just placed an order from California Car Covers for a cover for my Dad's GT500. I also requested a Cobra snake to be embossed in the cover. I can't wait to see it.

That's cool. As longas you get them something they like. My parents always tell me not to buy anything, but I can't do that. I am having my Mom, sister and girlfriend going in on it with me because they all don't know what to get him. He has wanted a cover for itsince he got it.

Yeah. I bought a 49.99 dollar one from Murrays for a Grand Prix I stored in the summer (winter ride) and in the srping it had 3 holes in it and an imprint of the fabric was embedded in the paint. I had to wheel it all out.

Yeah, he loves mine, he's always saing how much he likes it and he needs one. His garage is 24x24, which is big for 2 cars, (mine is 22x22 and I got 3 stangs in there) but he has tools, lawn and garden stuff, old junk from living in the same house for 30 years etc....he needs a good cover.

So, I went with the plushweave. It said it protects against dings and scratches due to extra padding. I figured that is the best on for what he'll be using it for.
