Well it's got a 1978 VIN as far as my books show these were all 77s. They were made by Car Craft not the company he noted. Oh, it's also missing the Handler emblem on the dash.

From what I know, they were all 78s. The original one was built off a 77 car, but I think the other 7 were marketed as 78s from what I recall. I'm not 100% sure though. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Handler info on the net, other then about the original Dave Kent car.

One thing that does catch my eye, is the darker blue stripe on this particular car, is not as dark as the pics of all the other Handlers I've found.

I contacted the owner to see what they are looking to get for it. While searching for other Handler info, I came across one for sale in CA, that was restored, and the guy wants 35k for it!
