I emailed this company that made an intake for the LS1's that flowed better than the LS6 intake asked them if they only worked on GM vehicles because an intake similiar to their LSX intake for the 4.6 liter Mustang would sell a ton and here is their response.
I agree. The manifold for the LS1 is just the first one we designed. We
are planning to make one for the 4.6 NEXT. Of course it wont be ready next
month because of the R&D time it takes but it is in the planning stages.

Nothing super solid but at least another company is working on one. Their LSX intake is a portable polymer that is half the weight of aluminum and will not transfer heat like aluminum. It also holds up to 900 p.s.i. so boost isn't a problem. And for the nitrous guys it can be ordered with the optional burst panel in case of a nasty nitrous backfire.
