More guage questions

Ok guys, I have an 85 GT and I'm going to use all autometer guages but I have some questions.
First question is, what is the ohm rating of the fuel level sender because there are several different fuel level guages, but the most popular seems to be the 0 to 90 ohms.
Second question, I have a TKO600 and was wondering what I need to do to run an electric speedo with the electric wiring on the TKO600.

The ohms for the fuel quanity gauge question has been asked several times before, but I have never seen an answer. I would like to know too.


The electric speedo question was asked sometime this month. The answer seems to be to tap into the VSS sensor output. A search should give you more detail, and the guy's name so you can pick his brain for more answers. Since you probably don't have cruse control, you may just need to add a VSS sensor and run the wires. The sensor cost is about $30. 86 and older are 73 ohms empty, 8-12 full. '87up are 16 empty 158 full.

Thanks for the ohms answers though I dont think autometer makes a gauge in that range. As for the VSS, I figured someone on here would know because so many people run Tremecs. The TKO600 has an electrically and mechanically outlet for the speedo so I dont think I need a sensor. I just assumed someone on here has a TKO600 and an electric speedo but I may be wrong.

Nevermind, I looked on Autometers site and they have a gauge for that range. Can I ask where you got those figures from? Thanks
