more horsepower

What can I do to add some more horse power to my 1999 mustang gt 4.6 liter engine. All suggestions will be appreciated!

Save for a blower. I know its expensive but the HP per $$$ ratio is better then staying N/A. You can find used vortech all the time and have it running for aournd 2k. You could easily spend that much for heads, cams, and tuning and not make as much power.

yeah i was thinking about a blower. This is my first v8 mustang i have had several v6 but im loving this v8 i have had for a year and its great. besides blower is there anything else are there any performance chips for it to up the horsepower? after i get my pat system taken care of i want to do some major upgrading to it

brian bailey, I agree with darkside03gt...a blower is probably the best way to go. The Vortech kits are super easy to install. Otherwise you're looking at the basic CAI, UDP, exhaust, gears, maybe a stage 1 cam, tune, etc...but all those combined won't match the power gains from boost!!

well ty u for the replys im definatley going to do a vortech blower now I just need help with my pats problem and i will be set

Don't waste your money on any upgrades other then a handheld tuner (sct) and maybe some gears. That way you aren't buying stuff that you will have to get rid of later. Don't buy underdrive pulleys as you will have to get rid of them once you add the vortech BTW.
