Here's where I left off.

Now it was time to take off the IC to clean it.
First I used a small propane torch to heat up casting around the bolts to loosen up the Red Loctite so I didn't break the bolts pulling the IC off.
Because the bolts were hot from the torch I used a telescopic magnet tool to get them out. (The thing is worth its weight in Gold!)
Here's the IC off.
As you can see I got all the bolts out without breaking them.
Next it's out back to clean the IC. Simple Green and Brake Clean are the weapons of choice.
I also cleaned the lower intake while I was at it.
