Tubular K-Member helps out with that too. It really cleaned it up in there.

That looks great, glad to hear the ports match up. I thought there was a thread on here before warning that they were trouble.

No fox t-body swap?

Fox body swap, yes, see sig, just not right now.

Troy (Redsnk95) is running AFR 205's with a Holley and he's going 10's. Even if it's not perfectly matched up its waaaay better than a stock Eddy lower. It wasn't close at all.

Find me that thread.

You do have some mismatch on the side walls (more to one side) at a minimum though don't you?

The Eddy lower being smaller is eliminated when ported.

its not too late joe. neither of us have bolted the lower to the car yet. all it would cost is some labor and another set of 1262's. im curious to see how it will turn out as well.

It's the AFR head flange that is exposed - I would not "gasket match" an AFR head to get the Holley to line up.

Rob, Wednesdays are a no go. I am taking most of December off though.

Tom, I'm not doing anything to either. They will both remain box stock.

Did the k member move the motor front or back any? How much weight do you think you saved with it?

The stock k-member is just a beast. It looks to set the motor back a smibbage. I'll need it to clear the intake it looks like. The tubular one didn't weigh but 10-12 lbs. I had to use both hands to move the stocker around.

Lol thanks for being so specific! About how much is a "smibbage" and how much weight can you pick up with two hands approximatly?

A smibbage is less than 1 inch and lugging the tubular around with one handed vs. the stocker which is probably around 50lbs.
