Most efficient way to take care of Rear O2's and Speedo Recal

What would be the most cost efficient / best way to deal with both of these issues?

Mil's and a Speedo Recal

OR

A Handheld tuner.

Most efficent is to go with the mil eliminators and speed-cal but the tuner will also give a little extra performance. If you go with the tuner there are variables you can tune to and make changes. SCT, Diablo, Hypertech are a few of the ones out there that I have heard good things about.

I can't say which is best, most will tell you what they have is best. I've only had experience with the Diablo on my car and have had it since the first batch came out for the Mach1's and it does what I need it to. Corrected my speedo, turned off the traction control, turned off the speed limiter, adjusted my RPM limiter, adjusted my Idle, set my fans for optimum on-off settings and I can monitor real time readings of what is going on while I'm driving.

Yep, that's the reason I'm going with a tuner instead of mils/speedcal combo. You can use the tuner to do other things as well.

Tuner, no doubt

The tuner lets you control numerous settings of both the engine and transmission, will act as a data logger which you can make pretty graphs from, and also enable you to learn a lot more about the workings of your engine and transmission.

I recommend a tranny cooler of you have an automatic and use the Predator.

Plus the install will be way easier for the Predator (or SCT).

Nope, no chip, just plug and play.

The tuner just plugs into the ODBII port. Takes about 2 seconds to install

Yes, and no...

It will come with a tune tailored for your car and the mods you tell them you have. Then you can learn how to adjust settings to that tune. They have good tech support also...

Don't automatics need a programmer to change the shift points for new gears? I thought only manuals can get away without a programmer.

The best way to go about this is send your EEC to Tim. He can reflash it for your gears and turn off the sensors. Furthermore, you will have an adaptive tune so the EEC will adjust for optimum performance with any mods you do in the future. Check my sig for Tim's shop.
