Motocraft Oil Filter Leaking?

Has anyone else had a problem recently with motocraft oil filterss leaking?

No here, make sure to lube that rubber seal

Never a leak, but i always lube the gasket with oil

Heard someone replaced an oil filter of some sort and the old seal came off the filter and stuck to the block ring and cause lots of oil to come out when they started the car.

Nope . Not in 30+ years. Make sure you didn't overtuighten it or leave the old filter gasket in place.

Never had a Motorcraft or any other brand of filter leak.

i had that happen, except for the leak though. when i pulled the filter later i found the second o ring had also come off the filter.

Hand tighten the filter, not with a filter wrench

No problems with Motorcraft Filters here.
