This weekend I will be installing some new Prothane Motor Mounts and just wanted to know if there are any tips you guys could share to make it easier. I haven't found any write-ups online regarding this change. I'd greatly appreciate any insight from those of you who have done this, and especially any photos! Thanks!

Hey Khyron,

I sent a PM to a member who has installed the Prothane MM. Hopefully he'll either PM you or post some help in here.

You bet. I'll poke around the web in the meantime and see if I can find anything.

I do recall Anthony saying that the install took him a couple of hours (I would rate his skill set Advanced in terms of modifications so an intermediate gear head would take about 4-6 hours to do the swap. Most sites say 1-2 with standard hand tools, but if it took Anthony a couple hours it makes me wonder if the 1-2 is a correct estimate.) He also indicated that the passenger side swap required removing the aluminum motor to body bracket.

Let me see if I can find anything that may help ya'.

I posted over on the tech side. I'd say an average back yard mechanic can do it in a few hours as long as he or she isn't really inexperienced.
