the average i've seen last time I was hunting for mounts, $100 a piece.
You wanna see something for fun though, try finding 302/351 motor mounts a for specifically a 73 Mustang. $200, trust me they are different than all the other early Mustangs, nor will a II mount fit in it. I tried.
Good luck on that hunt though, sometimes you can luck out on ebay, and find a set nobody else has seen and made the auction sky high

Ahhh, I see your trying to sell your garbage again ......

Spacer? There wasn't no stinking spacer under the stock mount .....

This is the second time you've pulled this ..... I wonder what can be done to stop you from doing it a third time.

ugghh

Ok....I may not be the automotive guru you are.....but I can only describe that extra metal on the sides, as a spacer.....I'm sorry for not being politically correct enough for you. I have sold SEVERAL of these mounts and everyone has been very happy. I actually just looked and the guy that started this thread bought one from me AND left me positive feedback about it. I don't know if you get your rocks off by busting my nuts....or maybe it improves your self esteem by being the "bully" of the forums, but if you found a "niche" that you could supplement your income with, you'd be pushing it too! I'm not making much on the mounts.....but it sure helps my measly Navy paycheck with these gas prices.

I'm really a terrific guy, but I'm not sure why I run into such animosity on here when I post something. I completely respect your automotive knowledge!! I took a few pics to show you what I was referring to....I don't know how else to explain it......If you don't have anything nice to say.......

......I just tried to post the pics and I have NO CLUE how to, but I revised my auction to include the new pics....please look so maybe you can correct my terminology and/or see what I'm trying to convey.....

Bobby

I believe that the animosity stems from the nature of the members here.

if I found a good header made for a truck fit our car, or a master cylinder that had a high volume and fit I would share the info. I have shared tranny mount replacement info and hood bumper info.

others have disclosed granada brake upgrades and ranger shoes. yet you found a replacement and horde the info to make a buck.

most of us are in it for the hobby not to make a buck and that is why the distain for folk like you and phuxem-phil

My memory is not all that good since I turned 30 but, I think I only payed $75each each for my motor mounts new from Ford (I likely got Jobber price). $75 Canadian still works out to #@$%-all though

This is true, but I believe those mounts are from a 78-80 cougar 351w. Im not sure, but I tried mounts from them, and they needed this "spacer" to get them to fit.

maybe not, but thats what I think.

What's wrong with makin a buck? There's a guy working on replacement mounts over at .net and I bet his won't be any cheaper. Anyway $75 is way cheaper than the eleventy billion dollars quoted earlier in this thread.

true, that if I did not feel up to my usual backyard engineer approach I would more than likely buy a mount from Fastmustang2guy (need one is need one), but the guy on .net is building his own and reaping the rewards, where as Fastmustang2guy (if i am not mistaken) found one that fits and is reselling a luck find. maybe it is just me
