This is driving me insaine,
I parked the car last winter, it ran mint. Not a single problem. I Took it out for the first time last week and it runs like crap.
Is what the problem is, is that at first it was backfireing throught the intake. I pulled codes and it said that the EGR was sticking. Well I Blocked off the EGR and for the switch if I held it in there was know check engine code, thinking the computer thought it was close. I beleve this is the same thing the EGR block off kit does but they use a diode. Well I thought it ran better. I replaced the fuel filter, wires checked and rechecked timing 16, New intake gaskets. I have 2 vacume hoses, one for the brake booster and one for the heater controls. No vacume leaks.
Well now when I start it up and drive it ( even if its still hot or just turned it off) I first 30 seconds or so of driving it ,its boggy, sounds as if its sputtering, missing thean its gone and runs fine!??? When I give her the beans sometimes it bogs down for a few seconds too, but if I let of the gas a hit it againe it fine.
