Ok, lazy me, I purchased a Motorsport EFI harness for my conversion. Got just about everything else done, now just finishing up the last of the wiring. Thought I had gotten everything connected and found a wire with a terminal on it. After checking the instructions, it should connect to "20 gauge Fuse Link to Starter Relay". OK, I know what the fuse link, 20 gauge is, Is the starter relay the same as the starter sol mounted on the passenger side just behind the battery. and if so, which side of the sol. does it connect to?, it has a large dia ring terminal, so I'm guessing, but the instruction manual does not mention the connection other that the description noted above. Help.

yes the starter solinoid.

I believe you are refering to the main computer power wire(number 34 on pg7). it sounds like you have the Ford motorsport manuel, so If you look at pg19 look at 9.29. Its tells you the solinoid or positve battery termanal. That wire need constant power. So use the constant power side on the solinoid. The solinoid stud allows for an easy hookup. I had to lengthen my wires to run them form passenger to drivers side. good luck

If it has a large ring terminal on it then it should connect to the battery side of the starter solenoid.

I have heard that it is a good idea to use the later-style starter solenoid (terminals on the end of the cylinder) as it has some sort of built-in diode to prevent a wrong-way electrical surge from frying the computer.
