My friend has a 99 Galant, with Motzart muffler on it. (I've never heard of it). The thing has the deepest tone I've ever heard. He says I shouldn't get one, cause it's for a 4 banger, and it would decrease my performance. Is that true? Would it really be that bad to put one one? And if it is, why don't I put duals on, and have 2 Motzarts. Would that be good for my performace?

I don't think many of us have even heard of that brand. I would try going with some Bach's or even some Tchaikovsky's instead. Much better composers in my opinion!

maybe the kids talking out of his ass, but whatever brand muffler he's got, it sounds good. I'm just not sure if that kind of set up would work on my car.

Try MAC Dual Cat-Back...cheapest bang for the buck IMO. Sounds good and I got it for 250$USD. Installed it myself.

I've seen dual fart cans on a Mustang and not only do they sound like ass, they look like it too!

Since the Mustang is a classical car, it might be a good idea to go with Mozart.

me27821 I don't know what to say to you. Oh, I got an idea. Go back to the first page of the 6 cylinder forums and read every post.

me27821 -- Don't let 98StangRidah be as ass to you! You have to start somewhere, and I saw you have 0 posts, so I'll cut you some slack here.

A 'fart can' is a big ass oversized exhaust on underpowered import 'ricer' cars that makes the car sound like it's farting, or sometimes like a lawnmower and usually decreases the car's performance. They can also be called 'coffee can' exhausts.

oh that stupid big crap hanging off the back. that's ugly as hell. That's not what the motzart muffler is though. it's just a muffler that goes further up on the pipe. just like how stangridah needs a pipe further up his ass

You're new so I'll tell you something helpful. You are not allowed to say things of such offensive nature. Me making fun of you was just that, me making fun of you. I could have answered your question but I did not because I did not think it was worth answering. But on a serious note, if you have questions about exhausts, you really should do a search. It's a topic that has been covered many times.
