Mountain Home and Boise Area

I just got here last Saturday from Kadena, I'm AMMO, and have an 03 Cobra that I haven't been able to drive for almost 3 years and now that the warrenty is up I am ready to go to town on it. I haven't done a lot of looking for speed shops yet but its not looking too good. There are however a crap load of mustangs on the base. Oh and Boise is not an hour away, I made from the airport to the gates of the base in 34mins in my Cobra

ah i see.....lol!! how many miles on the cobra since you have not driven it in forever? man i really want an 03/04 cobra! those are my favorite stangs.

I won't know for three more weeks if I'm going to Mountain Home, but there were two slots there and one at Ellsworth.

Keep me updated on what you find, there will be two more stangs there in June if I get Mountain Home.

I need to find a good exhaust shop for my GT, I have the sleeper look going, with a lil speed to back it up, but the really loud exhaust gives the car away

Oh and I need a place to tint the windows.

Hey, did you see that Uncle Meat is on stangnet? It seemed that someone at most bomb dumps knew Uncle meat.

and Boise was a bit over an hours drive, in 1985. But my parents drove an 84 oldsmobile. Not a cobra.

Well hope you head this way not the best place for a car enthusiasts but I guarantee it’s better than SD. I have also found a pretty good window tinting place right here in mountain home.

Keep an eye out for stangs for sale, I'm thinking about picking up a 3rd stang as a daily all season driver, so probably a pretty close to stock cheap GT fox or a 94-95 GT, don't tell my wife though

You Mt. Home AFB guys that want an expert on Mustangs need to look up Rods by Rule.
Guy works out of his garage in Eagle. He is absolutely a guru of the Mustang.
He is dead honest and is pretty reasonable on prices.

It has not snowed around here all winter (except in the Mountains) It is in the mid 50's... We did have a ton of rain this week, but the winter has been pretty mild...

I couldn't find his number in the book either. He does have a advertisement board up at Firebird Raceway with his number.

Guys name is Brent Rule. Ask around. A guy at Schucks autoparts in Meridain had given me his number. I can't seem to find the number anywhere

Well it's official I'm going to Mountain Home AFB in Idaho....at least I know where I'm going now.
