MOUNTING MY GAUGES

Are you talking about inside the car, outside the car, a-pillar, center vent, gauge pod..... ????

The sun is too bright in this picture, but i have 2 in my a/c vent, and my tach mounted on the side of the cluster.

are these gauges easy to install or if I have no knowledge with gauges, should I just have them installed? I have 2 autometer gauges. 2 1/16 air/fuel ratio and oil pressure. I am putting them in a pod by the dollar on the a pillar

the a/f depends on if its narrow or wide-band, iirc the narrow band hooks up on the 02 sensor, dunno about the wide band. oil pressure is really stinking easy. the only thing thats somewhat difficult about installing gauges is finding the right wires for the lighting.

btw, i put electric water temp, oil pressure, and voltmeters in one of these:

looks good enough that a buddy of mine his taking off his a-pillar pod and using one of these instead.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT MOUNTING THEM IN THE VENT MY TACH IS ABOVE THE VENT BUT I WASNT SURE IF THERE WAS A BETTER WAY,OR MAYBE SOMETHING DIFFERENT

You can do the vent mount. The wires behind the console lend themselves for a pretty easy install (or just use the same power, ground and lighting wires as your tach).

Other popular locations are the A pillar, under the radio and on top of the flat space on the dash (where your tach is from the sound of it).
