I see your point but wow... categories I think, would turn the FOTM into a full time job.
I on the other hand, LOVE a pristine, stock Fox. I've seen a couple that looked showroom new. In those cases, I think they'd be good competition for an all out modded Fox.
If folks want to have categories... how about the category for the month be decided prior to creating a nomination thread?
You all can figure out how you want to do that, whether it's a preset list indicating the category for each month through the year or whether it's decided just prior to the nominations or whatever.
You can also figure out how the selection for the category will be decided. Does one person pick the category out a list of possibles or do many folks vote on the category for the month.
It dawns on me that it would be easier than trying to create polls for multiple categories each month then trying to manage the polls and winners across multiple categories.
I agree with the "if you like it, nominate it" theory. If many people agree with you then they may win, if not there will be eleven months left they can possibly win while the person who won that month will no longer be eligible.
