MOVING TO BATTLEGROUND

Hey guys, im not new to stangnet but just to the northwest forums. I am currently living in phoenix az and going to be moving up to battleground washington on the 12th of september. I am 18 and going to be joining the airforce in a little while, but was wondering what go's on near vancover and portland oregon. Since i do not know ANYONE i was wondering if we could have like a stang meet up or something. I currently have a 86gt that i am going to sell in about 2 days and i drive 93 notch that recently bought that was all stock. Its a 5 speed and i put in gauges stereo, and bassani o/r x and flowmasters. Thats jsut the start though. Anyway what is there to do?

Starbucks on Saturdays in Beaverton ( 30-40 minute drive/cruise)
Dairy Queen on Fridays ( Same )
PIR for drag racing- friday/saturday late nights drags till 1:00 (15 minute drive)
PIR road racing (not sure on days)
PIR/ Beaches cruise in and bracket racing wednesdays
Lower river road ( Illegal drags - 15 minute drive)

Cool would be nice to meet up! Better bring a coat! I also drive a 93 coupe. Moving to battle ground you wont make it threw emisions without a catted pipe, unless they are exempt out there? So if ya have the stock catted pipe ya might want to tote it along with ya! Or when ya get here i'm sure someone has one to get ya threw if ya need it. O yeah you left out woodburn also jeff. Thats about what a 45 min drive? peace

Plus there is SIR or PR whatever they call it? On the 23rd of this month there is a couple of us from here going there to watch the filming of that T.V. show pinks, so if ya wanna tag along then we'll hook up. peace

Battle Ground is less than a 15 minute drive from my house. Ray (FENUT) rents out Woodburn from time to time (like this coming saturday). Its always fun.

Welcome! Im newish (grew up in Kelso, finally move back a couple days ago) to the area as well. A casual meet at a SB would be a cool way to meet everyone. Do you guys do that meet pretty much year round or just during drag season? Anyway there are a lot of nice cars over here so you should have a great time.

People usually meet when the weather is nice outside. However, when the weather is nice a lot of people are at the PIR drags unless the track is closed. It is a hit or miss at times

On the good side, your cooling system worries are over...

On the bad side, the women aren't as hot either...

One of the best shops in the whole metro area (imho) is right here in Vancouver, so if ya need parts or help, thats about 10 min away.
