Moving to Tampa

Hey I was notified today that FHP is stationing me in Tampa come mid-December. Any suggestions on a nice place to live would be appreciated. I hope to see some of you there soon, but hopefully not by pulling you over ....lol

Hyde park is a nice place to live $$ , davis island too.

It's been a while since I have been to Tampa but if I remember right Manatee county was nice. Lakeland was a nice looking place the last time I was there.

I went to USF in Tampa for a couple of years. I wouldn't live in Tampa because Real Estate is way overpriced. I have a house for sale in Lakeland which is 20 minutes West of Tampa. It's in a gated Community. Should be built by 10/20. Has a two car garage.

That looks like a pretty nice place. I have to live within 30 miles (as the bird flies) of the Troop station, which is right across the street from USF. Im not looking to buy a house right now, but I would like to soon before interest rates go up again. That is if I like the Tampa work area of course.
