04 V6 3.9 here. I average 22-23 MPG. On average 300 miles a tank. I do a lot of highway driving and the normal stop and go during traffic.

My dad gets like 28mpg in his '01 Grand Marquis. If you commute everyday and drive really slow...

I always got 19-22 out of my '01 V6 with mixed driving.

Drive slow in a Mustang? Wha? I actually bought a Mustang because of the excellent rain and snow traction all Mustangs get.

Routine 26-27 MPG for mine- about 70% highway driving, but occasional immature driving...

the best I've gotten was 30 and the worst was 22. It probably won't do 30 except in ideal conditions (no cargo, stock, strong tailwind, constant 60 MPH and no A/C).

I get a lowly 16-17 around town, about 22-24 on the highway in the vert, must be time for plugs and wires(already did the air filter when I changed it to the K&n)
