Why does the ABS light come on when you go that fast?

Or the stuff is sitting on a shelf and just made for a good pic. Let's see...Stock Tranny and Motor, .68 5th gear and 4.10's in the rear. With 16" tires, 4.10 gears and .68 tranny gear ratio, you would need 9496 RPM to achieve it. With 17" tires, 4.10 gears and .68 tranny gears, you would need 8937 RPM. And with 18" tires, 4.10 gears and .68 tranny gear, you would need 8441 RPM. So I say, NOT!!! It is sitting on a workbench isn't it?

16" TIRES??? What size rims you runnin on those????????

What size RIM you are running has nothing to do with the overall diameter and derived circumference of the tire, therefore, your calculations are not particularly accurate.

Mine hit the rev limiter with 3.73's and AODE at roughly 138.

If you are hitting 150+ with 4.10's your speedo is way off my friend.

I've hit somewhere around 152. 5-spd 25" tall tire, 2.73 gear, and 5k in 4th... or was it 5500? I don't remember.

A probe is not nearly as stable as a lowered cobra with a full suspension and wide sticky tires. I wouldn't go that fast in a probe either.
