The burgh is going good. I'm jealous of you though. I want to drop my car but you know how the roads are around here. Should be getting my snow tires off this week so I can start to have some fun again. I definitely need to move to a warmer climate. Hope you're having fun out in Vegas.
It's not that bad, but don't throw away your drying towels just yet like the box tells you. Think of it more as something to HELP you dry your car, instead of it doing all the work for you. I did notice that my car had A LOT less water spots on it.
I paid 15 bucks for it. I would say go ahead and buy it because it is cheap. I followed the instructions. It isnt hard to follow about 4 steps. It just did not work well for my car. Also, the autodry thing. You have to buy a new filter every 3 times you use it so it can "autodry" it for you.
It depends on what kind of water you have. I bought it and after I washed the car the very first time I needed to change the filter. no good for me I guess my water is to "hard" for it.

it works great. just follow the instructions correctly and it does exactly what it says it does. my black 03 GT had never been cleaner, not one waterspot(rare on black cars).
