All I can say is WOOHOO! My stock shocks with 64k on them were worthless, I could compress all of them easily by hand and they would barely rebound on their own.

So... I replaced them with MRTs street suspension kit (Steeda Sport springs by the look of them, and Tokico shocks/struts). Put them on yesterday with my dad. I've only driven the car about 40 miles since I installed them, but its 10x better than before and way better than any new stock stang I've ridden in! I can throw my car into a corner and theres next to no body roll! Braking and acceleration are much smoother now too! If anyone is looking for a good suspension kit for relatively little $$, check out MRT's.

Yea, its not really hard, it just takes a while. It took us like 6 hours. But we had jack problems and tons of neighbors that wanted to come over and chat. Always nice to show off, but we wanted to get done before dark...

I can't really think of too much to tell you to watch out for. Its really pretty straight forward. The front is a lot easier if you unhook everything from the A-arm though. Tie-rod, swaybar, etc. Just be sure to have a 1/2" breaker bar. That saved us on several occasions with some of the bolts. Once you get everything undone and drop the a-arm all the way down, the front spring just needs to be pryed out, its really not under much tension. Then again my springs had 64k miles on them.

Thanks for the compliments!

The drop looks perfect. I'm surprised how much the MRT springs brought it down. I thought they gave about the same drop as the Bullitt springs which is why I was gonna go with the Eibach Pro-Kit. I just wanted a little more but didn't want the slammed look of a 2" drop and all the hassle's that go with it.
I REALLY like the look those springs give. Looks like a solid 1.5"!
I hope you took measurements before and after because most people just kinda guess and say "It looks like it dropped X.X" and they really have no idea.

those are the same springs they put on the classic design concept car, the mach I with the cobra engine. I know that if I ever trade my cobra in and have to start over thats the suspension kit I am going with.

Welllllll, actually... I was so anxious to get my springs on it never even crossed my mind until I saw how it looked afterwards. I know they advertise 1-1.25", but I would definately say its more like 1.25"-1.5". I agree with you though, I think it is the perfect drop...

Looks good! I like my MRT springs as well. I measured before and after and my car dropped 1.5 inches all the way around, except for the right rear. It only dropped 1.25 inches.

looks awesome.
But can I suggest some window tint !
Your car + those rims + red caliper paint + cowl hood + bigger exhaust tips =

Bigger tips and cowl hood really compliment the spoiler delete !

Maybe that one spring isn't turned in the right direction??

One was off by a little but it was fixed. I found an old thread a while back where alot of people had the same problem, almost always with the right rear corner. Strange.
