MSD 6A beneficial/worth it for near-stock combo?

All I have is P heads milled to give about roughly 10:1 CR, full exhaust, built AOD, 4.10's, expolrer intake...
Would the cost of an MSD benefit me at all, whether it's MPG, SOTP, etc., or should I wait for a bigger need (power adder)?

Not really a SOTP change, but a noticable change in idle quality and response of the throttle. I think my Crane stuff was very worth it.

IMO since you are running a little higher compression it would help out more than it would with a stock set-up like mine.
